Filipino boxing Icon Manny Pacquiao wants to make a history by succeeding in his quest to win again for the fourth world title challenge against World Boxing Council light weight champion David Diaz.
Pacquio said, “It’s very important to me and my country to put my name into boxing history.”
Manny Pacquio doesnt mind the critiques that he lost some of his powerful punch and speed due to moving up his weight from 130 lbs upto 135lbs.

Manny Pacquio is ready for the Pacquio - Diaz fight
Mr. Ed de la Vega had an opportunity to watch Manny Pacquio closely on his sparring with different sparring mates. The speed and the footwork of Manny Pacquio almost perfect with power. Mr. Bubboy Fernandez the trainer of Manny Pacquio said "Handang-handa na si Manny".
People from the ringside can watch but can't take photos, only Philboxing staff was the only group allowed to take photos. Manny looks fresh even after going the full eight rounds of sparring. The Team of Manny Pacquio is scheduled to have a break camp after Manny's sparing day on June 21. (Tomorrow). Manny will going to meet Diaz for the final Presscon in Southern California.

Pacquiao will be billeted as usual, in his favorite suite at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. So far, each time he stays in that suite, he manages to win his fight. Saturday, June 28th for sure will be no different except that he will now go to bed after the fight as the new WBC World Lightweight Champion.

"I came here to formally announced a great fight on March 15, 2008 between the Philippines world's famous fighter Manny Pacquio and the last Mexican standing, Juan Manuel Marquez , Bob Arum said on a meeting at Bar One, Ortigas, Pasig City last December 2007.
This would be a very interesting and exciting fight, coz Last May 8, 2004 ,the fight of Manny Pacquio and Juan Manuel Marquez ends up in a draw.

Last Man Standing - PACQUIO versus MARQUEZ
The next fight of Manny Pacquio versus Juan Manuel Marquez was entitled Last Man Standing and scheduled on March 15, 2008 in Las Vegas.
"Well the thing is, we had so much success early in the last fight" Freddie Roach said. "We aren't going to completely abandon that of course, we might just jump on this guy again."
Manny knocks Marquez three times on their first round fight last 2004, but the fight ends up in a draw. Freddie Roach expects a new strategy from Juan Manuel Marquez.. "I am sure Marquez will have a great strategy too, so it will come down to who executes the best.".
"Pacquio is a much more settled fighter now" Roach added too..
