Manny Pacquiao himself announced during their 4th promotional tour for his 3rd fight with Juan Manuel Marquez that he will run for Vice President of the Philippines. Yes! from boxing to nation's vice president.

Personally, I don't know if I will vote for Manny Pacquiao although I am a number one fan of this guy. This is a serious matter, its about choosing a nation's ruler. I do not underestimate Manny's capabilities but I think his experience in politics is not enough.

Next issue, on 2016. Manny Pacquiao is only 37years old at that time. According to the Philippine constitution a nation's president must be 40years of age.

But I am 100% sure if Manny Pacquiao will become the Philippine's Vice President. I will assure that he will not become a corrupt politician. He will not rob the nation's treasury.

Among all oponents of Manny I have never seen like Juan Manuel Marquez. I think he was the most difficult opponent encountered by Manny Pacquiao.
Even Manny has entered the training hands of Freddie Roache, still the 2nd fight of Pacquiao and Marquez seems very difficult for Manny. This fight created a big controvercy over the split decision favored by Manny.

So this post is my opinion regarding the Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Juan Manuel Marquez fight. The fight was formerly set last July 18, but rescheduled tomorrow September 19, 2009 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas to be televised on Pay-per-view basis. The Mayweather-Marquez fight was moved due to injury of Mayweather during his training against Manuel.

Both Marquez and Mayweather is very eager to win so they can fight Manny Pacquio. Marquez wants to revenge. Mayweather wants to proved that he is the Pound for pound king and not Pacquio.

Pacquiao would get tired after six or seven rounds and will have nothing more left in him,” Morales told the press heading to the Pacquiao-Dela Hoya match that drew 1.4 million pay-per-view hits.

man oscar della fag is going down. he too old. u all are a bunch of fools thinking he going to win. he is not at his prime no more. pac man is.
if this was like 6 years ago yes he would win,, but face reality people he is done. its all about the money

Man you guys are drinking the same cool-aid. Pac does not have the power to KO a bigger Oscar. Oscar is too smart to get KO. Pac is going to eat Oscar's left all night long.

De La Hoya will get the most money, and unless he loses too much strength getting to weight, he will be the better fighter.
Pacquiao is giving up too much size and fighting someone who is too big. I don't think Manny can carry his power at 147.

ivan calderon who trains in the same gym with oscar said taht oscar was having trouble with quick southpaws sparring partners. paquiao is quick and he is a southpaw.

paquaio shoudl be out boxing oscar but i think sooner or later oscar will catch him with a big left hook taht might turn the tables

pacquiao's only chance is if de la hoya struggles to make the 147 pound limit, even then only if it goes beyond 6 rounds.

The most Manny Pacquiao can assure his fans is he’ll go for it when he tangles with defending champion David Diaz for the World Boxing Council lightweight crown on June 28 in Las Vegas.
All boxers want to win by knockout, and both of us will try to do that. But it’s hard to tell what will happen,” Pacquiao told Manila-based sportswriters in Filipino at his unit at the gated Palazzo apartments here.

I will try to win by KO to give the fans their money’s worth.”
Pacquiao promised plenty of action, though, in the bout dubbed “Lethal Combination” at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.
His hair newly cut and his moustache trimmed, Pacquiao said he’s not worried in his first outing in the 135-pound division.
“I have big sparmates and I’m heavier than that (135) when I fight,” he said.
After weighing in at 129 lb, Pacquiao ballooned to 145 when he wrested the WBC super featherweight crown from Juan Manuel Marquez on March 15.
Though he’s not thinking of losing, Pacquiao said he won’t make any excuses in the event of such an upset.
Oddsmakers have installed the Filipino superstar a 4-1 favorite to beat Diaz and become the only Asian to win four world titles in different divisions.
The 29-year-old Pacquiao also held the WBC flyweight title in 1998 and the International Boxing Federation super bantam belt in 2001.
Pacquiao also dismissed the notion that Diaz will be an easy conquest based on the way he beat Ramon Montano, a sparmate of Pacquiao, by decision in the undercard of Pacquiao-Marquez II.
“I’m sure he’ll be in better shape this time,” said Pacquiao. “He just didn’t take Montano seriously. But I’ll be ready for him. Fighting is my business and I want to be in the best shape each time I fight.”
With his weight in check at 139 and feeling fine, Pacquiao-given the go-signal by chief trainer Freddie Roach to take a break-opted to jog around the La Brea park before hearing mass at the Christ the King church.
After eating lunch, Pacquiao rested for three hours and then whiled the time away playing a friendly card game and darts.
Feeling hungry at around 6 p.m., he finished a sandwich before hobnobbing with visitors.
It will be a busy Monday for Pacquiao. After winding up his training at the Wild Card Gym with four rounds of sparring, he proceeds to Santa Monica pier for a joint press luncheon conference with Diaz.

People from the ringside can watch but can't take photos, only Philboxing staff was the only group allowed to take photos. Manny looks fresh even after going the full eight rounds of sparring. I am so excited to this event.. I know Manny Pacquio will easily defeat Solis like he did on other Mexican boxing fighers.

This is a 12 Round fight.. I didnt underestimate Solis, but his speed and power is not enough to beat Pacquio's punches. If you are goin to watch the previous fight of Manny Pacquio and Erik Morales (click here), Manny knocks Morales easily. Pacquio KOs Morales at the early 3rd Round.
But in my opinion Jorge SOlis was stronger than Morales, If we are goin to check the physical aspect of SOlis over Pacquio. SOlis has a great advantage over Pacquio. He has a long arms, He is a good puncher too.
Okay please check this site nextweek (April 14, 2007).. coz I am goin to post the video fight of Pacquio versus Solis. Like we did on the previous fight of Pacman versus Morales, Larios, Barrera, etc..

Jorge Solis was the next opponent of Manny Pacquiao. They have a fight on San Antonio Texas on this coming April 14, 2007.

(To those who dont know Solis, kindly check the Video fight of Jorge Solis versus Soto above)..

Jorge Solis was very strong. His arms, his fist was long and fast. He is 5'10" ,Manny Pacquio was only 5'7 I think.
Manny Pacquio is now preparing at Wild Card Gym at Los Angeles.

Pacquio's training was so short and I feel Pacman will KO the hit and run Solis in later rounds.

I don't if Pacquio can concentrate on his training..
He was one of the Congressman candidates, actually He files his candidacy for the Philippine Congress yesterday..

Heres the highlights of WBC International Super Featherweight "The Grand Finale" boxing fight of Manny Pacquiao and Erik Morales III.

Before the fight, three national anthems were being sang. The Philippine National Anthem was sang by Sarah Geronimo,

while the Mexican National Anthem was performed by Mario Del Gado. Rey Mysterio of WWE was holding the Mexican flag ;)

After that the United State of America's national anthem was sang by Robert Brooks. Vic Darkulich was the referre on this match and Michael Buffer is the announcer.

The game starts, everybody was shouting. This time Erik Morales and Manny Pacquiao were both using the Cleto Reyes gloves.

At the start Erik Morales fights aggressively, while Manny Pacquiao was seriously looking for a good shot, Aiming at Morales' face.

The fight was gettin' hotter! Both fighters are exchanging punches. Erik Morales launched multiple punches. Until Manny Pacquiao saws an open door from Morales. He knocks Morales by giving a strong left punch to Morales' right jaw.

Freddie Roach told the observers that Manny Pacquio is in the best shape of his career.

Pacquio is gearing up for the third fight against Mexican superstar Erik Morales on Nov. 18 (Nov. 19 in Manila) at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, a match that is shaping up to be a blockbuster going by the way tickets have been selling.

“It’s going to be a complete sellout,” said Top Rank boss Bob Arum, who was also present during the workout. “There’s not going to be a seat left and I’m really very pleased. We’re also putting 10,000 closed circuit [TV] seats so people who can’t buy tickets can watch the fight for $50.”

Arum predicted that the grudge fight—labeled The Grand Finale—is going to be the biggest in Las Vegas since the bout between Hector Camacho and Julio Cezar Chavez in the late 90’s.

Already, Arum said, 14,000 tickets have been sold, including most of the pricey seats, leaving around 3,000 left to sell.

According to Manila Bulletin (www.mb.com.ph) Erik Morales shifts to another gear with the arrival this weekend of two sparring partners, Colombian Oscar Leon and Betillo Gutierrez, in his high-altitude training camp in the mountains of Otomi outside of Mexico City.

The Mexican media also reported that Morales is starting to get accustomed to the Mexican-made Cleto Reyes in anticipation of

a hard-fought battle with Manny Pacquio on Nov. 18 at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas.

I remember this fight, I was really disappointed when I learned that Pac lost the title on scales and even more when he got KTFO the way he did.

According to reports at that time from what I remembered, the handlers of Pac did not give him any foods a day before the fight, put him upside down position just to make him vomit, and some other drastic ways to make the weight limit.

You can tell the way Pac's knees buckled in the first round how weak he was during the fight.

Pac was in survival mode the whole fight. You can count how many power shots Pac threw and there was none.

After this fight, Pac moved to 122 and the rest was history as they say

This is a 12 round boxing game between Manny "PACMAN" Pacquiao (Philippines)
against Oscar "CHOLOLO" Larios (Mexico).

This is a wonderfull match between Pacquiao and Larios, held at the Araneta
Collisium.

(Just for clarification, I just watch it on TV at ABS-CBN oK , I'm not a reporter,
I'm just a fan of Manny Pacquiao , OKay?;) )

At Round 1, (The getting to know each other round).

Larios is very energetic, while Pacquiao seems aiming at Larios' right jaw,
using his left handed arm. Manny Pacquiao seems very self confident on this
game.

This is Pacquiao's first boxing match against Larios, hope Larios would ask
for a rematch.

At Round 2-6....

On these rounds, Pacquiao and Larios exchanges a dozen of punches. Larios receives
a cut at his upper left eye. I think Larios is stronger than Morales, he is
very energetic and has a style, He fights inspite of his bleeding cut.

At Round 7
On this round. Manny Pacuiao knocks Oscar Larios after his three consecutive strong punches lands on Larios face.

At Round 8-11

Larios seems exhausted at these rounds, due to his cut and to the
punches he received from Manny.

At Round 12 (The final round)

Seconds before the bell rangs, Manny Pacquiao knocks Larios again! And there

Malapit na pla sa July 2, 2006, Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippine, gaganapin yung match ni Pacquiao and Larios.

By the way hindi naman kalakihan si Larios
5'7 lang yun, and 122lbs lang , WBC Junior Featherweight yun.
Pano ba pag punta sa Araneta Coliseum, balita ko si Pacquiao mismo producer ng fight nila ni Larios.

Heto pics nila, di ko na tanda kung saan ko napulot tong picture nila. Nag te training na kasalukuyan si Pacman. watch this video.
